The advantages of electric cars (over cars with explosion engine)Because of the global impact of obsolete industrial technologies on the climate and the environment, the majority of research and development going on in the area of new and clean technologies. Technology, on the basis of which a new vehicle was created – electric car - is the only one aspect of this modern trend, and now all the dominant car manufacturers are struggling to provide the global market with electric cars. It is obvious that the biggest advantage of electric cars - is a complete lack of emissions (when running on batteries - some vehicles, such as the Chevy Volt running on battery only the first 40 miles of track, and then use the gasoline engine). A complete electric vehicle, such as the new Nissan Leaf or the Tesla Roadster, has no exhaust system, muffler or fuel tank. These machines do not need any fossil fuel. They are powered exclusively by a battery. Many hybrid cars have a gas engine along with electrical components. But many people love cars only with an electric element, because they are very quiet. There is no noise and no roar of the engine, even if you press the pedal up to the stop, so you will hear only slight buzzing. And when the electric car is moving at very low speeds, they usually do not sound at all. Maintenance of electric cars is much easier only because there are fewer moving parts and fewer parts that can break. In conventional engines, there is a constant movement under the hood. The electric machine is usually more stationary, only the drive shaft and the drive transmission of the car are moving, so the car will be much less wear out with use. For example, in a conventional car all the parts in the engine can wear out and need replacing, and, as you know, each replacement is expensive. Please note that there are no these items in the electric car! Already thinking about buying it? Another advantage of the battery is that the technology of their production has already achieved a lot. You can travel quite long distances (over 100 km). And when the battery charge is low, then before returning to the road again, it must be recharged. Many foreign modern and forward-looking organizations offer charging stations for electric vehicles now, that is why the use of electric vehicles abroad is very popular. But, to our delight, power stations for electric vehicles appear even in Russia! The electric motor is the reason of only 5-10% of the internal combustion engine exhaust in the calculation for each kilometer. To clarify: All emissions occur at the motor oil or coal-fired power plants! The electric motor is capable of using electricity from a variety of sources, including sustainable energy (wind and solar). It is very easy to drive the machine with an electric motor, and they are becoming more affordable. |
